WASHINGTON, D.C.—With a goal of having a diverse set of agencies working in concerted effort to improve well-being outcomes of system-involved youth, the Center for the Study of Social Policy (CSSP, @CtrSocialPolicy) today announced five organizations will become members of the new Youth Thrive™ Learning Community. They will join the New Jersey Department of Children and Families and Brevard Family Partnership, in Brevard County, Florida, two agencies that CSSP has worked with over the past two years to use Youth Thrive to translate the federal mandate for child well-being into action.
The agencies will envelope the Youth Thrive framework into their policies and practices, programs, training, services and other aspects of their operations to support the healthy development of the youth in their care.
The announcement comes after a nationwide search and RFP process that drew applicant organizations from across the country, including social service agencies and direct service nonprofits.
