Celebration of Adoption event will join Brevard foster youth with “forever families”

Details: Photo, video and interview opportunities with adoptive families, Judge Kelly McKibben, special guest speakers, and service providers.
The Honorable Kelly McKibben, Brevard Family Partnership, Guardian ad Litem Program, and IMPOWER will host a Celebration of Adoption event to celebrate the joining of Brevard County foster youth with their “forever families”.
During the official, yet festive ceremonial proceedings, each family will appear before Judge McKibben and Brevard Family Partnership’s attorney, and present the final permanency documents to the court, completing the adoption process. A reception will follow the celebration and will include refreshments and family fun entertainment.
Brevard Family Partnership, along with partner agency IMPOWER, has joined over 800 “forever families” since inception, giving youth whose parents could no longer care for them, the safety and stability of a permanent and lasting family connection.
