Brevard Family Partnership provides after-adoption support in the form of:
- Follow-up counseling;
- a monthly stipend; and
- child-specific support, as needed.
In addition, children adopted out of foster care are eligible for Medicaid until the age of 18 and also eligible for tuition exemption for four years at a Florida State college, university or vocational school.
There may be more services and programs available to you and your adoptive child. Our post-adoption services are provided by the Adoption Support Coordinators at Intervention Services and can reached, based on the last name of the adoptive parent(s), by calling (321) 634-6047.
