Brevard Family Partnership and our partners and providers host a variety of meetings, training seminars and conferences designed to advance our professionalism and provide necessary and important information to our colleagues, foster and adoptive parents, and stakeholders.

Agency Meetings

Meetings take place at Brevard Family Partnership’s main office, located at 2301 Eau Gallie Blvd, Suite 104, Melbourne, FL 32935, unless otherwise noted.
In accordance with Florida’s Sunshine Law, Brevard Family Partnership post these notices for meetings and events where two (2) or more BFP Board members may be in attendance.

BFP Board of Directors Meeting

Provider Network Meeting

Provider Network meetings are held quarterly.
The meetings are scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 10:30 a.m.  take place at Brevard Family Partnership – 2301 W. Eau Gallie Blvd, Suite 104, Melbourne, FL. Non-Abusive Psychological and Physical Intervention (NAPPI)

NAPPI Training is being rolled out as a required training for all foster parents. Relative /Non-Relative caregivers and group home staff are invited to attend as well. NAPPI training is intended to provide skills to caregivers for managing difficult behaviors. This training will teach Psychological i.e. verbal behavior management techniques.

Foster Parent Informational Session

Foster families are some of the most extraordinary people in our community—your friends and neighbors who open their hearts and homes to the many children every year who suffer abuse or neglect. Join them and give a child a safe play to stay. Take an active role in their life and contribute to their health and well-being each day with guidance and support.

Interested in learning more?

Join us for an informational session and get answers to all of your questions from professionals in the field like, foster parents, adoptive parents, licensing and adoption experts.

Foster Parent Informational Sessions are held twice a month at either our Central Care Center in Rockledge or our South Care Center in Palm Bay from 6:00—7:30 p.m. Quarterly Foster Parent Informational Sessions are held four times a year at the Titusville Civic Center from either 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. or 12:00 – 1:30 p.m.  Please call for  more information about the quarterly sessions.
